A Simple Introduction to Otherkin and Therianthropes
About the essay and its translation project
This short essay is for anyone to start learning about us therianthropes and otherkin. It gives reliable sources for every piece of information. The statistics come from surveys that had a sample size greater than one hundred people. All of this is to make sure that this essay is the most accurate representation of us possible. It is in simple English: it uses only common words and simple sentences. That makes it easier to translate, and I hope people will translate it into many languages. If you have questions or want to translate it, please use the discussion board below.
Formats and translations
The original English essay is by myself, Orion Scribner. The newest is version 2.4.8, updated May 25, 2024. This essay itself is a two minute read. With endnotes and references, it is six pages long. When you download this project, it is in several file formats. It has ones for reading on the web, printing, editing in Microsoft Word, and editing in Google Docs.
