I'm Orion Scribner (they/them). My username is also FrameACloud on most sites I use. My partner systems are the Sol System (they/them) and the House of Chimeras (they/them). The three& of us are community historians and archivists.
I've been in the communities of therianthropes, otherkin, and other alterhumans for more than ten years. Many of my creations are nonfiction about them. For example, I make the comic Theri There, the community history book Otherkin Timeline, and more. Academic articles cite both of those. My community-- and academics who research my community-- recognize me as a subject matter expert, historian, archivist, and writer. This doesn't put me above anyone else, because there are no leaders of the alterhuman communities. I’m just another person here who makes things, and values what others make, just as I hope you do too. I share all of my projects about therians, otherkin, and other alterhumans for free, to help our communities. If you appreciate this work that I do for all of us, then I hope you will be so kind as to give me a tip. A couple of my projects here allow you to tip when you download them.
I'm starting to put my creations here. You'll see them on the right side of this page.
One is an essay, and I'm arranging with my colleagues to translate it into many other languages.
A couple of my other projects here are my hand-curated directories of other people's creations on itch.io. One of my hobbies is browsing this site and discovering that other people have created so many wonderful things here. I like to bring attention to those and make it easier for others to find what they're looking for.
I hand-make all of my art, writing, and other creations, without having a machine do it for me. To the best of my knowledge, so were all other people's projects that I feature in my public collections.
Here are some more collections of other people's itch.io creations.
